Switching to an AfroQash business account: a 4-step guide

You sell every day, yet your customers still see your first name when they pay? Your limits are holding your business back? An AfroQash business account solves both. And there is no new account to open: your existing account simply moves into a different category.

Step 1 — Register your business

In the app, switch your account to the business category by entering your registered business name and your RCCM number. Choose that name carefully: it is the one your customers will see.

Step 2 — Get your application verified

Businesses have their own verification process, separate from the one for individuals. It covers the company itself, not just the person who represents it.

• A legal representative authorised to act on its behalf

Step 3 — Choose your plan

Renewing early costs you nothing

A renewed subscription runs on from your current expiry date, not from the day you pay. Paying a week early therefore doesn’t cost you a single day.

Step 4 — Get paid in your business’s name

When they pay, your customers see your company’s name, both on the proximity radar and on your payment requests. A personal account, by contrast, only shows its holder’s first name.

For your bookkeeping, download your account statement as a PDF or Excel file at any time, for whatever period you choose.
