Terms of Use

1. The service

AfroQash is a proximity digital payment solution that lets you pay and get paid by NFC, top up your account and withdraw funds through partner Mobile Money operators. Available features may vary by country and account type (personal or business).

2. Opening and using your account

• You must be an adult and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Some operations require identity verification (KYC). We may refuse or limit an account whose identity could not be verified.
• Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential and for any operation carried out with your credentials.
• If your phone is lost or stolen, or you suspect fraud, tell us immediately at contact@afroqash.com.

3. Operations, limits and fees

Operations are subject to limits that depend in particular on your verification level. Any applicable fees are shown in the app before you confirm each operation. A confirmed operation generally cannot be cancelled; in case of error, contact support.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use AfroQash:

• for illegal, fraudulent or money-laundering activities;
• to impersonate someone else or use another person's account;
• to attempt to bypass security measures or disrupt the service.

5. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or at the request of a competent authority. You may ask to close your account at any time; the available balance will be returned to you, subject to legal checks.

6. Liability

We do our best to keep the service available and secure, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party operators (mobile networks, Mobile Money, banks), force majeure or improper use of the service.

7. Personal data

8. Intellectual property

The AfroQash brand, logo, app and website are the property of AFRONEX QUANTUM SARL. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. You will be notified in the app of any significant change; continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Benin. In case of dispute, please contact our support first to seek an amicable solution; failing that, the competent courts of Cotonou will have jurisdiction.
