Accept Mobile Money payments in Tanzania

AfroQash brings contactless proximity payments to Dar es Salaam and the rest of Tanzania: the customer brings their phone close, the merchant gets paid, and settlement goes through Vodacom, Airtel, Yas and Halotel, in TZS.

How a payment works

  1. The customer brings their phone close

No app to open on the customer’s side, no code to type. It takes no longer than a tap.

  2. The merchant gets paid

The amount leaves the customer’s Mobile Money account and lands in the merchant’s wallet, in TZS.

  3. Everyone keeps their proof

Both phones receive the confirmation. No more “I’ve paid” versus “I’ve received nothing”.
